A mystical standing stained glass scarab, inspired by the sacred symbolism of ancient Egypt and the scarab’s timeless association with renewal, protection, and transformation. Crafted in a cool palette of deep blue, emerald green, and radiant gold, this striking piece features intricate solder detailing and is surrounded by a beautifully twisted metal frame, all resting within a round black metal stand.

As sunlight moves through the glass, the scarab awakens in shifting jewel tones—a luminous guardian for an altar, sacred space, or sunlit room. A striking tribute to the ancient symbolism of the scarab and its eternal cycle of rebirth.

Dimensions: 15 × 11 in
Included: Round black metal stand

Care for stained glass.

Your stained glass piece has been cleaned, polished, and protected with a wax coating before it leaves the studio. For everyday care, dust it gently or wipe it with a clean, damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid household glass cleaners, abrasives, and rough applicators, which can damage the finish.

Over time, humidity may cause a white, dusty film to appear on the solder. If that happens, buff the area gently with a soft cloth and a small amount of liquid car wax.

Unless the listing says otherwise, stained-glass pieces are assembled with solder that contains lead. The wax coating does not remove that lead. Wash your hands with soap and water after handling or cleaning the piece, and keep it away from food-preparation surfaces and children who may put it in their mouths.

About the maker

  • Cut and soldered here

Scored, ground, foiled, and soldered by Renee. Nothing printed, cast, or dropped in from a kit.

  • The light does half the work

Color sits inside the glass, so a piece reads one way at breakfast and another by lamplight.

  • Ready, or still growing

Every piece says which. Renee would rather tell you something is unfinished than sell a photograph of it.

  • Packed by hand

Glass varies in texture and tone from item to item, so larger pieces are photographed for your confirmation before they are wrapped and shipped.
