Welcome to the Piecing Patch.

Ever since I was little, I have been fascinated by the creation process of taking different raw materials and designing them into new forms that serve different purposes—whether beauty, function, or both. The sense of accomplishment from seeing ideas become reality, and the joy of seeing someone’s face light up when one of my pieces speaks to them drive me always further to new designs, new materials, and new possibilities.

While over the years I have worked in many different mediums, I have come to find that designing textile goods satisfies a desire for things that provide everyday function with a sense of whimsy and fun, while glass brings beauty and magical moments as the light shines through it. Wood, of course, is grounding and plays a great supporting role when it comes to glass, but who knows where else that design road may lead over time…
